Yaimara Ronquillo
Instructor/Curriculum Assistant
Yaimara was born and raised in Camaguey, Cuba. She obtained her diploma as an Arts Instructor in Theater before earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology in Cuba.
Yaimara has worked in three countries (USA, Venezuela, and Cuba) as a Spanish and theater Teacher for Pre-K and elementary students. In Cuba and Venezuela, she taught children to participate in plays and adopt acting movements. She also directed theatrical performances with children ages 2 to 6 years old.
Yaimara joined Olas in 2011, where she incorporates her experience in theater to teach language and makes classes fun for students. With Maestra Yaimara children learn the language without even noticing it in a very natural, articulate, and intuitive way. Students love to learn with her while working with puppets, story telling, mask activities, and Cuban games and songs.
